Maverick and Goose

After I finally found my perfect flat, after the contract was good and signed, I started thinking of the next steps in my new life ... namely: DOGS!!

One of the first rescues I tried had two brothers up for adoption, and given my obsession at the time was Top Gun (which, if you haven't seen either movie yet, I thoroughly recommend you do!) I named them Maverick and Goose, depending on which turned out to be the bigger hellion.

Sadly, the agency never replied to my application, and these two have since found loving homes elsewhere, but I still like how this picture turned out and am inordinately pleased with that pun.
