Rafale!

I stumbled across Grekiska Gatu Hundar, an adoption agency in Greece, by chance and immediately fell in love with Rafale's natural smile. However, since I am moving to a new apartment soon, I didn't intend to apply for another few weeks. I drew this picture as wishful thinking.

The day I finished the drawing, the agency reached out to me instead, saying they had an upcoming delivery to Sweden around mid-September and would I be interested in adopting a dog around that date?

It was perfect--I'd have over a month to unpack and get settled into my new apartment, and I was approved for my first choice! I am beyond excited!! It's been almost a decade since my last dog, and there's been a dog-shaped hole in my heart ever since.

I have also found my new happy place, where I can unwind after a long day ... and that place is drawing doggos in need of homes. While I can't smuggle all the dogs into my tiny flat, I hope in future my art may help other Very Good Boys and Girls find their Forever Homes <3
